The agreement between you and us when you buy a digital guide.

1. Who you're buying from

These terms apply to purchases from britspet.co.uk, operated by Brits Pet UK You can reach us at info@britspet.co.uk.

2. What you're buying

A digital product — a downloadable PDF guide. Nothing physical is shipped. The description on the product page forms part of this contract.

3. Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we send your download link or order confirmation.
You must be 18 or over to purchase.
If we cannot fulfil an order — for example a pricing error we spot before delivery — we will tell you and refund you in full.

4. Price and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable VAT.
Payment is taken in full at the point of order.
Payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.
We may change prices at any time, but not for orders already placed.

5. Delivery

Your download link is shown on screen immediately after payment and emailed to the address you supplied, normally within a few minutes. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder and then contact us — we will resend it.

6. No refunds — all sales final

All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of the content and immediate access to content materials, no refunds or exchanges will be issued under any circumstances. Please read the product description carefully before purchasing.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the usual 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase does not apply to digital content supplied immediately with your agreement, which is why we ask you to acknowledge that at checkout.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the content is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Full details on our No Refund Policy page.

7. Licence and acceptable use

When you buy a guide you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for yourself and your household, indefinitely. You may print a copy for your own use.

You may not resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the guide in whole or in part; upload it to file-sharing sites; reproduce substantial extracts in your own publications without written permission; or remove any copyright notice. All intellectual property in the guides, text, illustrations and branding remains ours.

8. What the guide is and isn't

Our guides are general educational information based on experience. They are not veterinary advice, professional behavioural advice, legal advice or financial advice.

Always consult a qualified vet about your animal’s health.
Consult an accredited behaviourist for serious behavioural problems.
Cost figures are estimates that vary by breed, region and circumstance.

9. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from decisions you take about acquiring or caring for an animal. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the site available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may suspend it for maintenance.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

13. Complaints

Email info@britspet.co.uk and we will acknowledge within two working days and aim to resolve matters within 14 days.
