We Made the Guide We Wish We'd Had
Brits Pet started with a simple frustration. Everywhere we looked for puppy advice we found one of two things: cute videos that skipped the hard parts, or dense manuals written for people who already knew what they were doing.
Nobody was telling first-time owners the truth — that the first fortnight is exhausting, that you will probably cry at least once, that “just love them and it’ll work out” is not a training plan, and that the real cost of a dog is considerably more than the price on the advert.
So we wrote it down. Twenty short chapters, honest about the sleepless nights and the chewed shoes as well as the joy. No jargon, no padding, and a checklist at the end to help you decide whether you’re genuinely ready.
